2017 Winter 1 SessionsStrength and Speed SessionsStrength and Speed sessions combine our foundational movement prep with strength and balance training. All athletes will be trained in linear speed/ change of direction/foot quickness and conditioning. Athletes will also be taught proper mechanics in strength training. We do an assessment on the athletes on the first day and assign them to a specific training protocol based on age/ flexibility/ training experience and strength. We have a 4 level system which allow us to get specific with athletes based on their needs. We do not progress them forward until they are ready. Every athlete progresses at different stages and we progress them as they are ready!!! These classes are 75 minutes in length with a very up tempo mentality!! Strength work includes double leg and single leg strength, pressing, rowing, vertical pulling, shoulder pre hab, knee and hip pre hab, as well as core stability and strength.
